Pigtails

 I was so smitten by the cuteness of this girl the first day that I could fit her locks into pigtails.

Something about her growing up, but still being so small just really got me.

I smiled each time I saw her again. Her little belly and short stature seemed to underline the fact that there was still so much baby in her . . . 

But curly pigtails on the side of her head? Those things tell me she's growing up. Somebody slow down the ride, I want to keep my baby girl small just a little longer.
