We enjoyed a bike ride recently along the coastal trail. We took a walk on this trail in March, and it was laden with snow and ice. June is a different kind of beautiful.
Clearly David enjoyed his joyride.
And we really enjoyed the evening as a family!
Our motto this summer is to "drop it and play." That's what we're supposed to do when the sun is shining, like it is on this particular night. We have set aside most of our home improvement projects, and Sam will pick up studying for his certification again in the fall--this summer, we want to play together as a family. So far this summer, we have been blessed with some wonderfully sunny weekends and evenings!

Oooo what a great motto! I think we need to adopt that one! I love getting outside in the good weather too! What a fun activity...bike riding together, so fun! Love you!!
