Regrets

 If you ask Sam, he'll tell you that he has two regrets as a father.

The first one was when David was three, and Sam taught the little boy how to give a wet willy. David still remembers that little trick, and pulls it out at the most unsuspecting times.

The second regret is that he taught Alina that her bowl doubles as a hat.

The first time she tried it, her bowl was empty. And Daddy was grateful for a few minutes of diversion while Sunday dinner was being set on the table.

But since then, the bowl has usually been full.

And Sam has decided that maybe he won't encourage this any more.
