Can you see the strawberry blossoms? They look very promising--like maybe we'll have a bumper crop this year. The zucchini plant in the first pot is from the store. The following three pots hold zucchini plants I started from seed this year. We didn't have as much luck this year with our own starts--so for consolation I went to pick up some blossoming plants. They quickly imroved the look of our garden! Usually I plant the peas as early as the ground thaws, but I was behind the curve this year so they are just beginning to sprout. Hopefully we'll have a successful crop of beets, carrots, peas, brussel sprouts, brocoli, and cucumbers.
