Cuddles

As the months go by, David grows more attached to his thumb. An automatic reaction any time he feels something soft is to stick his thumb in his mouth and hold on to the soft thing. We think it's really cute. But we're worried that it's going to be really hard to break him of it when it's time . . . We think it's funny when he finds something like our sweater or the dish towel and cuddles up. We love the cuddles we get when he pauses to enjoy his thumb and he happens to be on our lap.

David can be in the middle of playing excitedly with his toys, when he comes across a plush blanket in his toy pile. He drops everything, and snuggles up with his thumb for about 20 seconds. Then he promptly returns to his toys as if he never took a break.
